














Pokhara is starting & ending point for many of the popular trekking routes in Nepal. Longer treks (1-3 week long) such as the Jomsom trek Annapurna Circuit & Annapurna Sanctuary begin here.
For those with less time, Pokhara also provides shorter 1-7 days more leisurely treks around the neighboring hills & villages. The popular ones are:-
Ghachowk Trek: - 2 days, a circuit through lhachowk & down to Batulechour, north of Pokhara, close of view of fishtail mountain.
Naudanda Trek: - 2 days, to Naudanda from Suikhat & then bask through Kaski, West of Pokhara.
Ghorepani Circuit: - 5 to 7 days long, upto the Gurung Villages of Ghandruk village, great views of the Annapurna Range, North-West from Pokhara.
Kahun Danda: - Day trip north east of Pokhara, 1560m altitude.
Sarankot:- Day trip, great view of the mountain range including Dhaulagiri, north of Fewa Lake 1592 altitude.
Rupa & Begnas Lakes:- Day trip, 15km south east of Pokhara, Lake a bus there & leisurely walk along the ridge that separates the two twin lakes.
